NEW DELHI: The country’s largest wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Energy Friday stated it has won a 30 MW wind turbine order from Bhubaneswar-based mineral developer Altrade Group.
Suzlon stated it’ll operate and maintain the turbines which is might be put in at wind farms within the Jaisalmer and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
“The undertaking will extend Suzlon’s leadership in the Rajasthan wind marketplace taking the total put in base to above 700 MW,” the company said in a statement.
The organization did not divulge any financial details from the deal.
According to Suzlon, the venture is Altrade’s maiden venture into wind power annd once completed it’ll generate enough electricity for through 6,000 households.
The challenge is will be commissioned by January 2011.
Currently Suzlon is the market leader in this power segment and has over above 40 sites across eight states with an installed capacity base of additional than 5,000 MW.
